On the morning of March 8, a celebration for the 114th Anniversary of International Women Day and the Commendation Conference for Advanced Individuals was held in Fengxian Campus.

Chu Min, Secretary of the Party Committee, on behalf of the SUCC's party and government bodies, extended holiday greetings and wishes to all female teachers at SUCC, and congratulated the advanced collectives and individuals who were commended. He said that female faculty members have always been an indispensable backbone in SUCC's development. Chu Min added that 2024 is a year for SUCC to improve quality and efficiency and achieve high-quality development. He hoped that the majority of female faculty members will be aspirational, apply Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era to their work, bravely take the lead in improving key school-running ability, the quality of independent talent training, technical service and school governance. He advocated showing females' power in actively "building a strong vocational education school, and completing building an undergraduate vocational school more quickly; he also called upon efforts to coordinate study with work, balance career with family, adapt to the changes of the times, improve comprehensive quality, achieve self-transcendence, keep in mind the mission of education, and contribute to the building of a strong country and national rejuvenation. Chu Min stressed that the Trade Union and Women's Working Committee of SUCC should continuously strengthen women's affairs, optimize the development environment for female faculty members, bridge the communication between the school's party and government bodies and female teachers, and always provide support for women. SUCC's party organizations at all levels should value and support the work of the Trade Union and women's working committee from an overall and strategic perspective, conduct in-depth research on solving important problems in women's work, strengthen the exploration and training of female talents, and create more and better opportunities and platforms for the career development and talent display of female teachers.

Cao Jing, a teacher from the Sports Group of the Basic Teaching Department of SUCC, third runner-up of the IFBB World Fitness and Bodybuilding Championships and champion of the Asian Championships, gave a popular science lecture titled "Enjoy Health and Bloom in Beauty" to the teachers present. The lecture focused on common problems among women such as low back pain, neck and shoulder pain, as well as wrong exercise methods and dietary habits in daily life. From a professional perspective, the lecture expounded how to adjust posture in the office, how to scientifically choose appropriate exercise methods and how to develop reasonable diet habits, providing considerate health tips for female faculty members.
