SUCC Held a Group Meeting for Independent Enrollment of International Students

On the morning of March 6, a group meeting of SUCC for independent enrollment of international students was held in Conference Room 401 of Fengxian Campus Tuwen Building. Vice president Guo Hongtao attended and chaired the meeting.

 At the meeting, Wang Yanyi of the International Exchange Division introduced the application materials of international students of Food Quality and Safety of Grade 2022, and Yu Limin, the director, explained the latest policy of the Department of International Exchange & Cooperation of the Ministry of Education on the enrollment of international students. The international student independent enrollment working group follows the procedure to vote on the admission of international students.

Guo Hongtao put forward three suggestions for the enrollment and cultivation of international students: First, we should attach great importance to the cultivation of international students, and the second-level colleges, the Office of Academic Affairs, the Department of Academic Affairs and the International Exchange Division should strengthen communication and work together to form a synergy to further enhance the work coordination mechanism; Second, we should develop ideas and take multiple measures to make the international student of SUCC scale up and expand its influence; Third, we should do a good job in the system to guarantee the international student scholarship evaluation system, optimize the counselors’ allocation of international student, and implement the accounting methods for training funds and workload. Guo Hongtao stressed that entering the post-epidemic era and facing the new situation, SUCC should seize the opportunity to further enhance SUCC's international capacity cooperation, effectively strengthen the ability to go out and run schools, and promote SUCC's international influence.
