In response to the national strategy for integrated development of Yangtze River Delta, Yangtze River Delta Green Intelligent Construction Industry-Education Collaborative Innovation Alliance was recently established in Shanghai. It is reported that this alliance will take the construction of a modern vocational education system as an opportunity to focus on the field of green and intelligent construction, in the forms of school-enterprise cooperation and industry-education integration to carry out standard development, scientific research, skill certification, practical training, base construction, international exchange and so on.

Relevant person-in-charge of Yangtze River Delta Regional Cooperation Office who attended the alliance establishment activity said that the alliance has brought together outstanding teachers from construction colleges, as well as outstanding technical personnel from construction technology companies in this Delta region and other surrounding provinces and cities. We will co-build the Industry-enterprise partnerships, exploring new paths for enterprise development and institutions talents training. Zhang Lan, deputy director of the Shanghai Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, said that linking industry needs with talent requirements is the focus of the work of the social security department. By supporting the development of the alliance, more companies will be guided to invest in talents cultivation of school-enterprise cooperation.

According to reports, the alliance implements a dual-chairman rotation system. The first-round chairman units are respectively held by Baoye Group Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Urban Construction Vocational College. Among them, Baoye Group is a well-known intelligent construction factory enterprise. Shanghai Urban Construction Vocational College is the largest higher vocational college in Shanghai, also a training base for skilled talents in short supply of the national construction industry.

According to the overall development goal of the alliance, Baoye Group and Shanghai Urban Construction Vocational College will integrate all forces to build in Qingpu, Shanghai the country's first production practical training base for intelligent construction and production-education integration. Relying on the practical training base, the alliance will deepen the integration of industry and education, by integrating the academic education and social service ability of more than 30 universities, introducing the research strength and training system of leading enterprises in domestic and foreign industries, with the aim to make the base as the "production base" of enterprises, "experimental base" of scientific research units and "learning factory" of universities.

At present, overall construction of the base has been accomplished. Facilities such as China intelligent Construction laboratory, digital twin factory and construction robot learning experiment center will be gradually completed. According to the development situation of the industry, the base has initially drafted courses in different degrees for enterprise engineers and technicians to participate in theoretical learning and practical training of intelligent construction related majors.
