On the afternoon of November 16th, SUCC held the teacher symposium on the 30th anniversary of teaching in 2022 in Fengxian Campus, which is named by “teaching people with original aspiration, carrying the mission from generation to generation”. Chu Min, SUCC’s Party Secretary, also attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Yang Guanghui, Deputy Secretary of the Party, Secretary of Committee for Discipline Inspection, Yang Guangjun, vice president, a total of more than 40 people attended the meeting including Publicity Department, Personnel Department (teachers' work department), Labor Unions, leaders of each Party and Branch (directly under the Party), and new and old teachers. The meeting was chaired by Yang Guangjun.

Zhou Peiyuan, the teachers' representative with 30 years of experience, associate professor of the general Party branch at School of Architectural and Environmental Arts, Wang Ping, new teachers in 2022, the general Party branch of Basic Teaching Department and Yang Ziai, the general Party branch of Office read the prose poem with deep affection, named “teaching people with original aspiration, carrying the mission from generation to generation”. It aimed to show old teachers’ spirit including dedication and great efforts, so as to encourage young generations to make arduous efforts with original aspiration.

Xu Jinxian, Director of Personnel (Teachers' Work Department) announced the list of related teachers in 2022, and Chu Min presented commemorative certificates to them. In addition, Yang Guanghui presented awards to the winning works in the selection of typical cases of a series of activities on the construction of teachers' ethics and moral including "teachers' ideological and political thinking”, and " model workers (craftsmen) in the new era ".

At first, Zhou Mei, Deputy secretary of the General Party Branch of Basic Teaching Department and associate professor, and Liu Suying, associate professor of the General Party Branch of the School of Marxism, shared their experience in education and teaching, expressed their love and pursuit of SUCC’S education. Besides, they urged new teachers to seize great opportunities of vocational education and SUCC’s development, work hard and make contributions. Qian Ya and Yan Yingji, as new teachers in 2022, said that they will learn and inherit the "teacher spirit" of loving students, sticking to their posts and devoting themselves. Based on their own positions, they will try their best to become good teachers with four characters like ideals, beliefs, moral sentiments, solid knowledge and benevolence, thus contributing to the development of SUCC. At the meeting, old teachers solemnly wore SUCC’s emblem for the new teachers, passing the baton of the development of SUCC.

In his concluding speech, Chu Min congratulated and saluted to related teachers, thanked them for their silent efforts for 30 years, and also welcomed new teachers to join SUCC. He said that, old teachers should continue to work hard, and strive for greater breakthrough in self-development. Moreover, they should take the lead to pass on the teaching experience and educational spirit to new teachers; of course, It was hoped that new teachers can take the initiative to learn, and surpass their predecessors. At the same time, teacher's ethics, moral education and teamwork should be top requirement and first choice. He expressed that old and new teachers should carry forward the spirit of craftsman and SUCC, work together to accelerate the establishment of undergraduate vocational university and realize the 14th Five-Year Plan of SUCC.

Awarding commemorative certificates to teachers was an important way to enhance teachers' sense of honor and mission and create a good atmosphere of respecting teachers and teaching in SUCC. Moreover, it was also one of the important measures to strengthen the long-term mechanism of teacher ethics in SUCC.
