I. Project Overview
The Seminar on the Belt and Road Infrastructure Construction for International Talents has been successfully held in two phases since its opening in November 2017. A total of 50 technical backbones of the construction industry from 10 countries and regions, incl. Cambodia, Indonesia, Nepal, Maldives, East Timor, Vanuatu, Malaysia, Vietnam, Singapore and Hong Kong, China participated in the Seminars.
II. Project Features
The Seminar is carried out in the form of teaching assistance. Shanghai Construction Vocational Education Group undertakes the international travelling expenses of the participants and the related expenses during the seminar (such as train ticket, accommodation, accident and medical insurance, training materials and so on). The relevant cooperation units will give full play to their respective advantages in teaching organization, professional practice, project resources, etc., and organically combine the “people-to-people bonds” and “facilities connectivity”. The professional development of foreign aid human resources development cooperation will be promoted by the joint operation of professional higher vocational colleges and key construction enterprises.
III. Enrollment Target
The Seminars faces management personnel and technicians from government management departments and contracting engineering enterprises working on infrastructure construction in the countries along the Belt and Road countries and teachers fromrelevant construction vocational schools. A student shall be below 50 YO, and has good English listening/speaking/reading/writing skills and good health.
