On October 6, the opening ceremony of our International Chinese Language Training Camp (Egypt Station) was held successfully. This course was taught by four International Chinese Language teachers from our university for Egyptian students in modular teaching method. Dong Jin, secretary general of the Chinese Council of "the Belt and Road" Countries University and Enterprise Exchange Association, Xu Jinxian, director of Basic Education Department, Wang Aihua, deputy director of International Exchange Office and leader of International Chinese Language (Egypt) Teaching and Research Group, International Chinese Language teachers Wang Mingzhou, Chen Jihua, Zhang Fen, and Egyptian college students attended the conference. Director of International Exchange Office Yu Limin presided over the opening ceremony.

Dong Jin delivered a speech at the opening ceremony. She thanked the Egyptian Embassy in China for building the platform and the strong support of our university. This training was a rare learning opportunity for Egyptian university students. She hoped that students could listen carefully, participate actively in interaction, know more Chinese knowledge, enhance cross-cultural communication ability, learn and earn, learn and enjoy, and become messengers of cultural exchanges between China and Egypt.

Yu Limin welcomed the participation of Egyptian university students. She introduced the characteristics, professional settings and international cooperation projects that have been carried out of the university. She said that the International Chinese Language Training Camp would be beneficial to internationalized curriculum construction of the university, promote teaching ability improvement of International Chinese Language teachers, and enrich the connotation construction of "Chinese Plus Vocational Skills". She hoped that Egyptian university students could raise their Chinese proficiency as soon as possible, experience the fun of learning Chinese, and understand the charm of Chinese culture.

Wang Aihua briefly explained the teaching arrangement and content, and several international Chinese Language teachers had a simple online interaction with the students. The Egyptian student representatives said that they were full of expectations for Chinese learning, and felt the dedication, professionalism and enthusiasm of Chinese teachers during the exchange. They were full of confidence with follow-up learning.
