On November 8, Chu Min, Party Secretary of SUCC, visited the National Exhibition and Convention Center to visit the "City · Heart" volunteers of SUCC who participated in the 5th China International Import Expo. Accompanied by Li Lin, the teacher in charge of the team, Yu Han, a volunteer of the long-term management post, and relevant positions, Chu Min visited young volunteers who provided epidemic prevention and control and guidance services in such exhibition areas as 4.1 Technical Equipment Exhibition, the Central Square, 6.2 Comprehensive Exhibition Hall and other places one by one, expressing appreciation to the students for their earnest and active work attitude. The SUCC’s Youth League committee's powerful organization and service were given recognition.

After the visit, they went to the "Faith Hall" located in the "Volunteer House" and had an in-depth discussion with the volunteer representatives. During the discussion, Wen Jun from the School of Municipal and Ecological Engineering introduced to Chu Min the related work of "City · Heart" in detail including the preliminary closed-loop and pressure test, and also looked into the volunteer service of various positions and the follow-up planning. When communicating, students from different grades and serving different positions actively shared their knowledge and work during this period, showing the youth style of SUCC with "be ideal, dare to take responsibility, able to bear hardships and willing to struggle". On behalf of SUCC, Chu Min expressed concern and sympathy to them and spoke highly of their enthusiasm for work. He said that China International Import Expo was an open stage and a great classroom for learning, and those who can participate in the volunteer service were also the most outstanding student representatives of SUCC. This year was the fifth anniversary of the China International Import Expo. In the past five years, the "City · Heart" small leaves have written a new chapter of SUCC on the big stage with their efforts. The new "City · Heart" students should continue the excellent spirit of volunteer service and the excellent character of SUCC, improve their self-learning ability and knowledge, struggle to advance the magnificent journey of reform and opening up, thus becoming the young people with broad vision.

During the discussion, Chu Min also raised several expectations. First, they should improve their communication skills. He hoped the students cherished this opportunity, strengthen their role change, learn to put themselves in others' shoes, and bring the excellent quality and habits learned to the future life and work. In addition, they should treat others with good mental outlook, bear hardships and work hard, practice professional ability and interpersonal skills in continuous practice, and dare to express their ideas. Second, the ability of observation and perception should be enhanced. It is hoped that students can observe the development trend of the industry by learning advanced products, technologies and services from other countries, and combine them with their majors, so as to broaden their horizons and feel the development of the country, the progress of the world and the innovation of the future. Third, they should take advantage of the opportunities. Students should know how to thank the country, and together with SUCC, seize all the opportunities, strive for a better life. Moreover, they should work together for the construction of undergraduate vocational university, and the comprehensive construction of a modern socialist country, thus promoting the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.

Chu Min told the students to take good care of themselves, and also passed on many tips on epidemic prevention. He hoped that the students could safely and successfully complete their volunteer work at the China International Import Expo under the orderly organization of the Youth League Committee, and return to campus with a healthier and more positive outlook.
