In order to deepen the international cooperation in the context of the epidemic and improve the level of international exchange, SUCC was invited to attend the “First ICCCACE International Conference on Green Building and Clean Energy” in the afternoon of December 16th. Relevant professional teachers and staff of the International Exchange Office attended the meeting.
The conference was organized by the International Cooperation Committee of China Construction Education Association, and hosted by Shenyang Jianzhu University, Tampere University of Applied Sciences in Finland and Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences in Germany. The conference invited domestic and foreign industry insiders from China, Finland and Germany to share the latest research developments in green building and building energy efficiency, and to exchange cutting-edge scientific and technological achievements in the field of green building and building energy efficiency. Eero Nippala, principal lecturer of the Department of Built Environment and Bioeconomy in Tampere University of Applied Sciences, shared Finland’s advanced practices in carbon neutrality of building stock and Finland’s roadmap for carbon neutral building stock in 2050. Mike de Saldanha, a professor of Department of Architecture and Interior Design of Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences, gave a presentation on energy-optimized building and technology strategies in smart building design.
Through this international academic event, the teachers who attended the conference broadened their international horizons and gained an in-depth understanding of the frontier of green building, green development and green energy conservation. In the context of global climate actions and goals of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality, this event also has enlightening significance for the future of the SUCC’s related majors in terms of how to deeply integrate with industry and serve the transformation of social and economic development.
