At the meeting, Zhang Zhengrong extended a warm welcome to the guests from Singapore and introduced the history and development status of SUCC. He said that SUCC is currently accelerating the improvement of campus infrastructure by focusing on the goal of "building a strong vocational education school and accelerating the construction of an undergraduate vocational university". In the future, the number of students and faculty of SUCC will further increase, and SUCC will further explore foreign cooperation and exchanges. He hoped that the two sides could carry out vocational education cooperation in a wider field and at a deeper level on the basis of previous successful cooperation, so as to achieve higher-level international educational exchanges.

Esther Bay expressed her gratitude for the warm reception of SUCC and elaborated on the school-running scale and department setting of NYP in Singapore. She mentioned that Singapore attaches great importance to the promotion of Chinese, and NYP hopes to jointly promote a short-term study tour program for students with SUCC based on previous cooperation, so as to further expand humanistic and professional exchanges between the two universities.

During the meeting, Hu Bin reviewed the two-month student exchange program of NYP in Singapore and shared his experience on the background of the program, training model, students' growth, future planning, etc. Huang Yuanyuan introduced SUCC's short-term study tour program for international students in China from multiple dimensions such as program overview, program design, curriculum framework, campus activities, cultural experience, off-campus visits and exchange presentation. Cai Jinping, Senior Manager of the Student Services and International Exchange Center of NYP, elaborated on the objectives, requirements, itinerary, fee categories and other basic information of the upcoming overseas study tour and study program for students. The participants had in-depth and pragmatic exchanges and discussions on the curriculum arrangement, enterprise internship, time batch, number of students and other related contents of Singaporean students' study tour in SUCC, and preliminarily reached an agreement.

In January 2024, the School of Application of Artificial Intelligence and the School of Information Technology of NYP in Singapore signed a memorandum of cooperation. The two sides agreed to send students to each other's universities for study and exchange on an equal footing. In September of the same year, 3 exchange students from NYP in Singapore went to SUCC for a two-month exchange study in big data technology. This year, SUCC is also actively preparing to select exchange students to study at NYP in Singapore. The Singaporean side's visit and negotiation on the short-term study tour program will further promote exchanges and visits between teachers and students of the two universities, and deepen China-Singapore educational and people-to-people exchanges.
