Shanghai, November 18 (Reported by Tang Qiyun from CNR.cn) From November 15 to 17, the International Finals of Blockchain Technology of the 2024 BRICS Skills Competition kicked off at Shanghai Urban Construction Vocational College. Since the launch of this event, contestants from China, India, Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh, South Africa and other countries and regions have enthusiastically signed up. After a series of selections, 71 teams entered the International Finals.

In the end, Shanghai Urban Construction Vocational College, Rizhao Polytechnic and Dezhou Vocational and Technical College won a gold medal, a silver medal and a bronze medal, respectively. There were 5 first prizes, 10 second prizes and 15 third prizes, as well as several awards for excellent teams, excellent guidance experts and outstanding organization awards.

At the closing ceremony, Song Xiaoqin, Deputy Director of the Chinese Competition Office of BRICS Skills Competition, made a comprehensive summary and comments on this competition. In her view, the contestants showed their profound proficiency foundation, meticulous design analysis skills, strong pressure-resistant ability and craftsmanship spirit during the competition, fully demonstrating the expected accomplishments and potential of blockchain technology talent in the new era.
