Recently, the Forum on Empowering International Industry-Education Integration through TVET at the 26th China Annual Conference & Expo for International Education (CACIE) was held in Beijing. During the forum, SUCC was honored with the China-Thailand TVET Cooperation Outstanding Contribution Award (2024-2025) by the Office of Vocational Education Commission of the Thai Ministry of Education, and the China-Pakistan Education Cooperation Distinguish Contribution Award (2024-2025) by the Pakistan National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC). These two accolades fully demonstrate the high recognition from Thailand and Pakistan for SUCC's achievements in international exchanges and cooperation in vocational education.
In recent years, SUCC has actively integrated into the high-quality development of the Belt and Road Initiative, building deep and long-lasting vocational education partnerships with Thailand and achieving remarkable results. Since the establishment of our first overseas branch in Bangkok, we have signed credit mutual recognition agreements with 23 Thai universities. Two professional teaching standards and several curriculum standards have been officially accredited and promoted by Thailand's education authority. We have enrolled Thai students in degree programs for seven consecutive years, organized multiple online Chinese language training sessions, and hosted short-term study tours in China for Thai students. Thanks to the fruitful outcomes of our collaboration, SUCC has been honored by the Thai education authority for seven consecutive years since 2019.
In 2023, we signed cooperation agreements with the Punjab Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority and the Sindh Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority in Pakistan, providing construction technology training and "Chinese language + biomedicine" short-term study tour programs for vocational college faculty and students. These initiatives have yielded positive results, laying a strong foundation for the arrival of 11 Pakistani students who came to China to study Architectural Engineering Technology at SUCC in the second half of this year.
Both awards affirm SUCC's contributions to China-Thailand and China-Pakistan cooperation over the past few years, further strengthening our determination and confidence to pursue practical collaboration in the future. SUCC will continue to make sustained efforts, enhance quality and standards, and cultivate more high-quality technical and skilled professionals for countries participating in the Belt and Road Initiative.
