President Ye Yinzhong Attends the 2019 China World Vocational Education Conference

From November 7th to 8th, President Ye Yinzhong was invited to Xi’an to participate in the 2019 China (4th) World Vocational Education Conference, and made a keynote speech at the “Belt and Road” Vocational Education International Cooperation and Industry-Education Integration Sub-Forum.

The 2019 China World Vocational Education Conference is themed with “Future-oriented Industry-Education Integration, Collaborative Education, and Applied Talent Cultivation”, including over 20 series of events such as the opening ceremony, the Concurrent Exhibition, the International Vocational Education Summit, the German Expert Teacher Training Seminars, the Parallel Forum and the Concurrent Events. The participants include a total of 162 domestic and foreign enterprises, institutions and vocational colleges. The “Belt and Road” Vocational Education International Cooperation and Industry-Education Integration Sub-Forum have gathered more than 150 well-known education experts from the Britain, Germany and other EU countries and Chinese domestic vocational education fields, education administration departments and vocational colleges, as well as domestic and foreign educational institutions and business representatives.

At the forum, Ye made a keynote speech entitled Contributing to Service and Promoting Development through Cooperation, sharing the practical experience of SUCC in the construction of the “Belt and Road” and exploring international cooperation in vocational education and the focus of future internationalization work, which aroused an enthusiastic response from the guests present. The Shanghai Urban Construction Vocational College and the German BFW Construction Industry Promotion Association Cooperation Case reported by SUCC was also rated as an excellent case by the Organizing Committee.


At the World Vocational Education Exhibition held at the same time, Ye also visited a number of well-known domestic and foreign enterprises involved in industrial robots, artificial intelligence, and institutional exhibition booths for industry, education, and research integration. He also exchanged views with some exhibitors on how to accelerate SUCC's internationalization process, as well as industry, education, and research integration.
