On November 17, 2023, a four-member delegation from the 7th Education Center of Ivanteyevka, Pushkinsky District, Moscow Oblast, Russia, visited Shanghai Urban Construction Vocational College (SUCC) for an exchange seminar. The delegation was led by Principal Galtsina Yana Gennadievna and Vice Principal Shvetsova Svetlana Grigorievna, and was warmly welcomed by SUCC President Zhang Zhengrong. Representatives from the International Cooperation Division and Department of General Studies attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Jiang Yiqun, Secretary of the General Party Branch of the Department of General Studies.

President Zhang Zhengrong extended a warm welcome to the Russian delegation, introduced SUCC's basic profile, educational features and international exchange achievements, and expressed the willingness to establish long-term cooperation. Ms. Galtsina Yana Gennadievna expressed her gratitude for SUCC's warm reception, elaborated on the educational history, scale and characteristics of the 7th Education Center, and put forward expectations for cooperation with SUCC in fields such as vocational education and skills training. Subsequently, both parties focused on cooperation paths for in-depth discussions and reached consensus on key cooperation in areas such as cultural and linguistic exchanges, teacher-student research studies and mutual visits.

During the exchange session, Huang Yuanyuan, Deputy Director of the Department of General Studies, focused on introducing the international exchange work of the Department.

The seminar has laid a solid foundation for cooperation between the two parties, helped promote the implementation of projects, joint cultivation of international talents, and contributed to the educational development and cultural exchanges between the two countries.
