On December 16, the International Exchange Office and the School of Urban Operations and Management of SUCC jointly created the Project Management course training officially started. This training is another initiative of “Chinese + Vocational Skills” program in Cambodia. The course was conducted for the Cambodian Youth Group and more than 40 Chinese enterprises in Cambodia with nearly 100 managers at all levels in two sessions (Session I: December 16, 23, 30; Session II: December 17, 18) by Dr. Liu Ting, a modern property management professional from the School of Urban Operations and Management.
The content of Project Management can meet the needs of local youth career development in Cambodia, as well as provide relevant theoretical and technical support for managers of major Chinese companies in Cambodia. In addition, the course incorporates the content of the world’s largest Project Management Institute (PMI) standard, covering the key parts of PMBoK to help participants who are inclined to pass PMI certification.
As a professional who has obtained PMI certification, Dr. Liu Ting combines her years of experience in engineering project management and training and consulting to explain professional theoretical knowledge with easy-to-understand language and vivid cases, inspiring and mobilizing participants’ enthusiasm for learning, which is well received by the participants.
Since November, the “Chinese + Vocational Skills” program of SUCC has been implemented in Cambodia for three training sessions, targeting Cambodian blood bank and medical personnel, Cambodian youth groups and managers of Chinese-funded enterprises in Cambodia, tailoring skills training topics around local talent training needs, achieving good teaching results and international reputation. At present, SUCC is carrying out a series of “Chinese + Vocational Skills” training courses in Laos and Pakistan synchronously, and is striving to build an international brand of urban construction vocational education.
