The National Team of the 46th WorldSkills Competition Bricklaying Project Came to SUCC for Intensive Training

Recently, the national team of 46th WorldSkills Competition Bricklaying Project came to SUCC training base for 20-day intensive training, which includes gold experts, expert team leader Lei Dingming, coach Zhao Qi, and five Chinese training team players from Shandong, Henan and Zhejiang.

Leaders of SUCC attach great importance to the training work. On January 2, the principal of SUCC, Ye Yinzhong, came to the base to express a warm welcome to all the experts, coaches and players of the WorlSkills Competition. He said that SUCC will cherish the opportunity to host training and make every effort to do a good job in various services to provide quality logistical support for the training team to ensure the successful completion of training work. At the same time, he pointed out that the gold experts, coaches and the best players came to SUCC for training which is the affirmation of bricklaying base in SUCC. He hoped to do a good job in serving at the same time, to organize professional teachers to learn from the training coaches and players to improve the professional skills constantly.

In order to do a good job in this training camp, the School of Digital Construction has been preparing since the summer for the national team to enter the training camp, specially transformed the training base for the bricklaying project, and purchased new equipment, providing good conditions for the players. After the training team entered the base, SUCC also invited the training team experts and all the training team members to carry out exchange activities such as, “Carry forward the spirit of craftsmanship, strive to be the pioneer of the times—the greet meeting between students and teachers and the national training team of 46th WorldSkills Competition bricklaying project”, “Seminar of WorldSkills Competition standards entering the curriculum”, “On-site interaction of bricklaying national team and digital construction faculty and staff”, etc. to further promote the spirit of the WorldSkills Competition and spread the concept of the WorldSkills Competition. The School of Digital Construction also had in-depth discussions with the Chinese professional training team on patent application, technical standard development, training cases and training results research based on the WorldSkills Competition bricklaying project.
