From April 23^rd to 24^th, under the guidance of China Vocational Education Association and National Food Industry Vocational Education Teaching Guidance Committee, the integration development conference of the first national food industry-education and the inaugural meeting of Integration Community (National Food Industry Vocational Education Group) of China Food Industry-Education was held in Beijing, which was sponsored by China Food Industry Association and organized by China Food Industry Magazine. Leaders from various departments, including the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the Chinese Vocational Education Association, the National Health Commission, and representatives from 63 universities and 20 large food enterprises attended the conference.

At the conference, Shanghai Urban Construction Vocational College (SUCC) was elected as the vice-president unit of Integration Community of China Food Industry and Education (National Food Industry Vocational Education Group), President Ye Yinzhong was elected as the vice-president, and Li Bo, deputy director of the Education Department, and Zhang Yunbin, dean of the College of Food and Tourism, were elected as the executive directors. The conference included the inauguration ceremony, expert report, work report and high-end dialogue on the integration of industry and education, etc. Ye Yinzhong presided over the expert report and work report on the conference.

The establishment of the National Food Industry Vocational Education Group aims to give full play to the advantages of the group and rely on the association to build a  integration community of industry and education, extend the education chain, serve the industry chain, support the supply chain, build the talent chain and enhance the value chain through education for industry, industry-supported education and cooperation between industry and education; Promote the integration of the three industries and industry-education integration in the food industry, serve the regional economy and industrial development, and help rural revitalization. By joining the integration community of China food industry and education, our university will make use of the traction role of industry organizations, converge and integrate the food industry and scientific and educational resources, and lay the foundation for the high-quality development of our food majors.
