SUCC has successfully held a "Chinese + vocational skills" skills training for Cambodian frontline medical personnel from November 8th to 10th. This training was jointly created by the International Office and the School of Health and Social Care. On the topic of prevention and control of hospital infections in the context of the new crown epidemic, a three-day online course was offered to Blood Bank Center of Cambodia. Ly Sovith, deputy director of the center, organized relevant personnel to participate in the training, and nearly 100 people acquired education by online learning, which achieved good teaching effects and international reputation.

Hospital Infection Series courses take causes and response strategies for nosocomial infections in hospitals at home and abroad as the breakthrough point, focus on prevention and control programs of nosocomial infections in Chinese hospitals. Among them, the courses “Prevention and Control of ICU Infection: Environmental Management Strategies” and “Prevention Strategies of Central Line Associated-bloodstream Infection in Intensive Care Unit (ICU)” respectively focus on the environmental management of the ICU and the infection prevention and control of “three catheters”, which are of great concern in nosocomial infection management  of ICU. Based on a large number of scientific research results and clinical practice, the course explains China’s plan and shares China’s experience in simple language. The relevant leaders of Blood Bank Center of Cambodia attached great importance to this training, personally led all the members to concentrate on learning all the content, and immediately organized the students to discuss the content of the course after each class, and made arrangements for our training organization and highly praised our training organization and the professionalism of the training contents.

Foreign vocational skill training is the core of international education exchanges and cooperation in vocational colleges and it is also a direct manifestation of the internationalization level of school operation and professional development. In the past two years, the school has actively responded to national policies and actively carried out the international cooperation model of “Chinese + vocational skills”. In the next stage, the school will continue to develop overseas promotion bases of "Chinese + vocational skills" in Russia, Laos, Pakistan, Malaysia and other countries to serve the "Belt and Road" construction, and strive to build urban construction vocational education into an international brand.
