In March 2022, the China National Light Industry Council issued an article (China Light Industry Council partisan [2022] No. 67) to commend the “National Light Industry Technical Expert”. Xia Zhihao, a training teacher from the School of Digital Construction of SUCC, won the honorary title of “National Light Industry Technical Expert”.

Previously, in the National Industrial Design Vocational Skills Competition co-hosted by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and the China National Light Industry Council, Xia Zhihao won the gold medal of the staff group in the furniture designer competition by virtue of his pragmatic and enterprising spirit, solid theoretical foundation, special creative ideas and superb operational skills, which has fulfilled the “zero breakthrough” for SUCC in this competition.

Xia Zhihao is not only a training instructor, but also a player of the furniture production project of the World Skills Competition, a national team player of the 45th and 46th World Skills Competition of the furniture production project, the winner of the furniture production project of the 1st National Vocational Skills Competition, and the No. 1 of the Shanghai Selection Competition. Since he came into contact with woodworking in 2015, he has been moving forward with perseverance and passion for woodworking for more than 6 years. He has gradually transformed into a woodworking coach, and he still gallops with his head held high in various competitions, striving for good results for the school.
