Since 2017, SUCC has successfully held four seminars on "the Belt and Road" initiative and has trained about 300 attendees in total. The fifth seminar focused on the concept of the “Ruban School”. The contents of the research and studies included appreciating the Ruban technical area constructed by the intelligent site “Headquarters Building of BRICS New Development Bank”; visiting the Ruban Intelligent sector of the Shanghai Center Tower and the Shanghai Astronomical Observatory; experiencing woodworking, traditional filigree creation and other aspects of traditional Chinese culture. The courses were more colorful than those in previous years. These reflected the pursuit of excellence, overall consciousness in serving the national strategy, and the management philosophy of advancing with the times as advocated by the organizer, the College of Continuing Education.
