Recently, SUCC has been presented with a book donation certificate by the Greenwood International Trade Center in Moscow, Russia, in recognition of our faculty's enthusiastic participation in the book donation to the Chinese Reading Room of Moscow, which helps Russian people learn Chinese and understand Chinese culture and the development of vocational technology in China.

This activity was meticulously organized by the International Cooperation Division, and actively responded to and strongly supported by our schools such as the School of Digital Construction and the School of Application of Artificial Intelligence. A total of 16 high-quality books have been put on the shelves of the Chinese Reading Room of Moscow. Most of these books were independently written and created by our faculty members, focusing on Chinese culture and art and vocational skills, including original works such as The Dream Blower on Crystal Street written by Huang Wenjun, and Mobile Robot Programming Technology and Application edited by Wang Zhenzhong. These publications not only fully demonstrate the profound heritage of outstanding traditional Chinese culture and the achievements of China's contemporary social development, but also highlight the fruitful results and original vitality of vocational education in the College.

In recent years, SUCC has been actively expanding the China-Russian vocational education cooperation to enhance our international educational standards. In 2024, the presidents of eight institutions, including the China-Russia Vocational Education Alliance and the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia, visited the College to jointly outline a blueprint for cultivating vocational and technical talent between China and Russia. In the same year, SUCC signed cooperation memorandums with the Russian State University for the Humanities and the Moscow Polytechnic University to promote the overseas dissemination of Chinese education. In the future, SUCC will further contribute to the capacity upgrades of the Belt and Road, support the international expansion of Chinese vocational education, and focus on establishing a high-quality platform for cultural exchanges between China and Russia.

Coinciding with the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Russia, the Chinese Reading Room of Moscow activity is a part of the series of activities of the 2024-2025 China-Russia Years of Culture. This event is guided by the China General Chamber of Commerce in Russia, and jointly sponsored by the International Chinese Language Teachers Association and the Greenwood International Trade Center in Moscow, with support from the China-Russia Vocational Education Alliance. The activity aims to provide books and resources focused on Chinese language learning, Chinese culture, and vocational skills to the local employees of over 400 Chinese-funded enterprises in the Greenwood Park and the local Russian population.
