On September 23, a Kazakhstan education delegation visited our university's Fengxian Campus. The delegation comprised 38 members from 22 institutions across Kazakhstan, covering local education authorities, multiple vocational colleges, regional centers for technical and vocational education development, an education sector trade union, and enterprises. The delegation was received by Zhu Hongmei, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of our university; Wang Aihua, Deputy Director of the International Cooperation Division; Wang Xiaoyin, Secretary of the Party General Branch of the School of Application of Artificial Intelligence; Song Changxin, Deputy Dean of the School of Application of Artificial Intelligence; Ding Ye, Program Lead of Modern Logistics Management of the School of Business Administration; and related staff.

Before the meeting, the delegation toured the professional training facilities of the School of Business Administration and the School of Application of Artificial Intelligence. Zhu Hongmei noted that Kazakhstan is the place where the Belt and Road Initiative was first proposed. Over the past decade or so, exchanges and cooperation between the two countries in education have continued to deepen and yielded fruitful results, laying a solid foundation for mutual understanding and friendship between the two peoples. This visit, she said, marks a starting point for deepening mutual understanding and forging friendship. She expressed the expectation of jointly exploring cooperation in talent cultivation and industry-education integration, nurturing high-caliber technical and skilled talent together, and steadily expanding cooperation and exchanges in China–Kazakhstan vocational education. The Kazakh representatives expressed sincere gratitude for the university's meticulous and thoughtful reception and noted that the on-site visit had brought many valuable insights to Kazakhstan's vocational education practitioners. Through this visit, the delegation hopes to further establish regular communication channels, actively explore cooperation pathways, and learn from our university's experience in running programs in fields such as artificial intelligence and modern logistics.
