On April 13, the Shanghai Qualification Trial of the “Marketing” Skills Competition of the 2019 National Vocational Students Skills Competition was officially started in the Fengxian Campus of SUCC. A total of 8 vocational colleges from Shanghai participated in the competition.
The Marketing Skills Trial was hosted by the School of Economics and Trade. Dean Wang Jichuan and Assistant Dean Chen Dong were responsible for the specific undertakings of the Trial. Under the leadership of two advisers (Chen Ying and Weng Lizhen) and through the training and selection for nearly half a year, four students, Cao Zhonghua, Cai Chengyue, Zhao Yifan and Wang Mengxiao, formed the SUCC representative team.
The Trial was divided into three modules—exhibition of actual marketing practice, business data analysis and situational marketing. The Trail course was nearly 10 hours. The SUCC representative team scored full marks in the modules of business data analysis and situational marketing, won the first place in the Shanghai Trial with the total score of 99.23, and won the qualification for participating in the National Competition.
This Trail sufficiently demonstrates the comprehensive abilities of SUCC in market analysis, office software application, communication and expression, etiquette, information collection, target market selection and positioning, marketing design and event planning, and fully reflects the vocational education level of SUCC.
