In the morning of March 8th, SUCC held the 112th Anniversary of March 8th International Working Women’s Day and Advanced Commendation Conference in the Fengxian Campus. The theme of the conference is “Upgrading to the undergraduate college to start a new situation, women make new contributions”, commending the advanced collectives and individuals emerging in the school construction, showing the women’s style and features of standing on their posts and making great achievements, and expressing the determination and confidence to make new achievements in the new development journey of the majority of female faculty members in the school.

Chu Min, secretary of party committee of SUCC, He Guang, deputy secretary of the party committee, vice president and chairman of the labor union, Shang Huiping, director of the propaganda department and director of Working Committee on Children and Women, Wang Xiaohui, director of the organization department and director of the personnel department, and Ge Hua, executive vice chairman of the labor union attended the conference. Representatives of female cadres, female teachers and female college students from all departments and colleges of the school, as well as all members of the school’s Women’s Working Committee attended the meeting. At the meeting, He Guang delivered a speech, Wang Xiaohui read out the decision on the establishment of the SUCC’s Working Committee on Children and Women, and Zhou Mei, vice chairman of the trade union and executive deputy director of the Working Committee on Children and Women, read out the 2021 advanced commendation list. The conference commended the advanced collectives and individuals from SUCC of Shanghai, the municipal education system and school female workers in 2021.

Song Baihong, the women pacesetter of Shanghai, Qiu Zhichao, head of the nursing (elderly care) teaching team of School of Health and Social Care, that is Shanghai’s National Advanced women collective, and Zhu Feng, the head of the big data teaching team, that is SUCC’s Advanced women collective, made on-site demonstrations and exchanges. Huang Yuxin, the female college student representative from the School of Urban Operations and Management delivered a lecture.

On behalf of the SUCC’s Party committee, Chu Min congratulated the advanced collectives and individuals who were commended, and extended holiday greetings to the female compatriots who worked hard and studied hard in various positions in SUCC.
