On the afternoon of December 9, the “Chinese + Vocational Skills” Silk Road Chinese Overseas Training Center jointly founded by SUCC and Egyptian Chinese University was successfully inaugurated in the form of online conference.

"Chinese + Vocational Skills" training is a special feature and highlight of the international exchange and cooperation between vocational institutions and countries along the "Belt and Road", and also a direction of endeavor to deepen cooperation and improve the training quality of technicians. Since 2022, SUCC has been working with the China Branch of Association of Silk Road Countries Universities and Consulting Companies to actively plan for establishment of the "Chinese + Vocational Skills" overseas training base in cooperation with Egyptian Chinese University. In November this year, SUCC successfully offered Chinese Bridge "Silk Road Chinese" series Chinese culture - tea culture online course at Egyptian Chinese University, which attracted more than 300 Egyptian university students and got a good response to teaching effect, contributing to SUCC’s cooperative project of establishing training center in Egypt.

In the face of the pandemic, SUCC has carried out a series of online education and foreign exchanges, exporting "Chinese + Vocational Skills" training courses in architectural engineering technology, nursing and property management, etc. to Laos, Cambodia, Malaysia, Pakistan and other countries along the "Belt and Road", accumulating experience and foundation in export of courses and receiving good results. Establishment of the “Chinese + Vocational Skills” Silk Road Chinese Overseas Training Center will further enhance the educational cooperation between SUCC and Egyptian Chinese University, give full play to professional advantages of the two universities and achieve new breakthroughs in the areas of personnel training, resources development and sharing, construction of training bases, "Chinese + Vocational Skills" training, scientific research cooperation, student-teacher communication, cooperation in running schools, etc.
