From February 15 to 18, the 23rd China Annual Conference for International Education & Expo (hereinafter referred to as the annual conference), sponsored by China Education Association for International Exchange (CEAIE), was held in Beijing. With the theme of "Adapt and Change - Reinventing Our Education", this year's conference will be held in a combination way of "offline + online", with more than 30 parallel forums, 10 bilateral and multilateral conferences and seminars, and 5 thematic exhibitions. Representatives from global politics, academia and industry gathered in Beijing to focus on the "changes" in global education development, gather the "wisdom" of education reform and innovation, and draw a blueprint for international education development.

President Ye Yinzhong was invited to attend the “Belt and Road” International Exchange Symposium on Education of the annual conference forum and delivered a speech on the theme of “Belt and Road International Exchange on Education: New Starting, New Development”. Ye Yinzhong made a keynote speech entitled Exploration and Practice of Higher Vocational Education from Going Out to Going In, introducing the exploration and practice of vocational education from “going out” to “going in” in serving the construction of the “Belt and Road”, taking early and pilot measures, expanding ideas, exploring boldly, creating an international platform for the integration of education and industry, promoting technical skills training norms, allowing humanities exchanges to enter overseas universities and other ways, gathering multiple forces, developing win-win situation, promoting exchanges and mutual understanding of civilizations, and giving full play to the advantages of vocational education to promote the high-quality development of the “Belt and Road”.

China Annual Conference for International Education & Expo is an international education event organized by China Education Association for International Exchange with the support of the Ministry of Education and approval of the State Council. It has been held annually since 2000 and is currently the largest comprehensive education cooperation and exchange platform in China and one of the most influential comprehensive international education events in the Asia-Pacific region.

The current world is experiencing unprecedented development, change and adjustment, and the change and innovation of education is imminent. In the new development environment, the university will actively fulfill the mission of the times to expand the opening of education to the outside world, further deepen educational exchanges and cooperation, focus on improving education service capacity, and contribute more to the higher quality, more equitable and sustainable development of global education.
