According to the promotion plan for the Sino-UK cooperation project, the Sino-UK Excellent Vocational School launched cooperative professional portrait reconstruction activities after the completion of the first-round teacher internationalization training from November 12 to 23. From November 27 to 29, the first explorations and discussions on the professional portraits of the two programs (engineering cost and architectural design) led by the International Cooperation Division were organized at the Yangpu Campus and the Fengxian Campus respectively.

Regarding the professional portraits, experts of relevant professional fields arranged by the UK side visited SUCC to investigate the professional teaching facilities and equipment, to conduct field research on teaching conditions and to fully understand the setting of the professional curriculums, the course content, the teaching methods, the assessment methods, etc. Based on the investigation and research, professional evaluation was conducted to provide improvement plans corresponding to the UK curriculum standards.

The deans, the associate deans for teaching, the professional directors and the professional teachers of the School of Construction Economics and Environment and the School of Architecture and Environmental Art and the representatives of the International Cooperation Division participated in the discussion. The two parties conducted in-depth discussions on the talent cultivation models and the professional curriculum setting of their respective programs, laying a solid foundation for determining the manners and contents of the subsequent professional cooperation and joint construction.

In addition to the exchanges, the British experts also visited the training bases of the engineering cost program and the architectural design program, and comprehensively understood the professional teaching modules and student practice links of SUCC.
