On the morning of December 6th, the Graduation Ceremony of China-UK Teacher Training, Shanghai Urban Construction Vocational College (SUCC), was held in Fengxian Campus. A total of 20 teachers from the Sino-UK Vocational School of Excellence successfully obtained the Certificate of Post Graduate Education (CPGE) jointly issued by Centre of Excellence for British Vocational Education (CEBVE) and NPTC Group of Colleges (Neath Port, the UK). Mr. He Guang (Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, SUCC) attended the Ceremony and delivered a speech. The Ceremony was presided over by Yu Limin (Director of the International Cooperation Division).

The teacher training provided by the Sino-UK Vocational School of Excellence spanned two years and went through three rounds in the three forms, including face-to-face teaching, online tutoring, and expert diagnostic evaluation. Without travelling abroad, backbone teachers from four programs (incl. Computer Application Technology, Architectural Design, Engineering Cost, and Construction Engineering Technology) accepted face-to-face guidance by senior British education experts who have provided teacher training to Oxford University and Cambridge University, completed evidence-based education, micro-teaching training and the study of other teaching methods, passed the assessment by British experts in the classroom for their teaching performance in line with international standards, and successfully obtained the CPGE.

The teaching staff is the key to improving the quality of a school. By vigorously developing international exchanges and cooperation, SUCC has steadily advanced the construction and internationalization of the teaching staff and cultivated high-level teaching forces with an international vision and sophisticated teaching concepts, and will definitely upgrade the quality of talent training.
