On May 7-8, "2021 Vocational Schools International Cooperation & Exchange Forum and the International Chinese Language Teachers (Primary Level) Offline Training " has been successfully held in Fengxian Campus. Dong Jin, Secretary General of "One Belt and One Road" National Association for College and Enterprise Exchange Chinese Council, Zheng Lijie, senior expert of the International Chinese Test and Teaching Research Center, relevant leaders and teachers from Shijiazhuang Railway Vocational and Technical College, Guangxi Vocational and Technical College, Qinghai Transportation Vocational and Technical College, and Xuzhou Preschool Teachers College, vice principal Guo Hongtao, relevant leaders and teachers of the school International Exchange Office and the Foundation Teaching Department participated in the event .

The international Chinese language teachers (primary) offline training opening ceremony was held in the morning of May 7. Guo Hongtao, on behalf of the school, extended a warm welcome in his speech, to the teachers from brother colleges, and briefly introduced to the guests the school’s achievements of "internationalized teaching" in the past few years, the results serving the "Belt and Road" construction, and regional economic and social development. At the same time, he fully affirmed the significance of the "International Chinese Language Teachers Training" project. Ms. Dong Jin introduced the domestic and international development of "Chinese + Vocational Skills" and "International Chinese Teacher Training Base" project and placed high expectations on the "International Chinese Teacher Training Base", the only one base established by the association in Shanghai.  She hoped that this base can cultivate more teachers having international visions, Chinese culture dissemination skills, and mature international Chinese teaching skills for Shanghai and even the Yangtze River Delta region. Thus, the teaching team can better serve the country’s Belt and Road construction and show Chinese education brand on a higher stage. Xu Jinxian, Director of the Foundation Teaching Department, elaborated the course arrangement and assessment method of this international Chinese language teachers (primary level) offline training.

At the "2021 Vocational Colleges International Cooperation & Exchange Forum " held on the afternoon of May 7, the participants fully exchanged experiences and wisdom on the overseas base construction of "Chinese + vocational skills", management of international students during the epidemic, online teaching and other aspects.

Meanwhile, international Chinese language teachers (primary) offline training was also carried out. Through observing the "International Chinese Open Class" by Zheng Lijie, a senior expert of the International Chinese Test and Teaching Integration Research Center, and conducting trial lectures and mutual evaluations, the students mastered the key teaching points and skills of each level in HSK (Chinese Proficiency Test) systems.
