On the morning of September 23, the opening ceremony of offline training for International Chinese Language teachers (intermediate) in national vocational colleges was held in Fengxian campus. Dong Jin, secretary general of the Chinese Council of "the Belt and Road" Countries University and Enterprise Exchange Association, Professor Zhu Qingming, an expert in Chinese as a foreign language at Beijing Language and Culture University, leaders and teachers from Shanghai Medical School, Ezhou Polytechnic of Hubei, Jiangsu Agri-animal Husbandry Vocational College, Jiangxi Environmental Engineering Vocational College and Guangxi International Business Vocational College, the school principal Ye Yinzhong, relevant leaders and teachers from International Exchange Office and Basic Education Department attended the event.

On behalf of the university, Ye Yinzhong extended his sincere welcome to the teachers from brother colleges and universities from afar. He briefly introduced to the guests that since the merger and establishment, all members of the university have made concerted efforts, aroused their all efforts to make university prosperous, sought development and improved level, actively carried out various activities centering on the five functions of "talent training, scientific research, social service, cultural inheritance and international exchange", and stepped on a new level every year. He said that the university attached great importance to international exchanges. In the past few years, focusing on the construction of "the Belt and Road", the university had implemented international talent training courses on infrastructure, overseas branches in Thailand, recruitment and training of international students for academic education and other projects, which had exerted a certain influence on similar universities. Carrying out International Chinese Language teacher training was not only an important work in the layout of international cooperation, but also one of the promotion measures to strengthen the construction of teachers and speed up the construction of undergraduate vocational universities. He stressed that vocational colleges should take strengthening vocational education as their own responsibility, constantly improve the teaching, scientific research and practice level of their faculty, and explore an international cooperation model suitable for their own educational orientation. He hoped to take this training as an opportunity to strengthen the exchange of vocational education experience between schools and jointly promote the development of vocational education.

At the opening ceremony, representatives of brother colleges and universities fully affirmed the achievements of international exchanges and the organization and arrangement of the training, and also shared the beneficial practices of their universities’ international exchange. At the same time, the offline training for International Chinese Language teachers (intermediate) was carried out simultaneously on September 23 and 24. The online part of this training was carried out from August 23 to September 2. In the next stage, the participating teachers will participate in practical teaching and carry out International Chinese Language teaching for students in Thailand, Egypt and Laos.
