On September 20, the inaugural meeting of the Intelligent Construction Professional Committee of the Chinese Society for Technical and Vocational Education and the First China Intelligent Construction Industry Education Integration Forum was held in Beijing. The president Ye Yinzhong attended the meeting via live video and delivered a speech entitled "Exploration of Industrial College Construction under the Background of Digital Transformation of China's Construction Industry". The highest number of online viewers exceeded 10,000.

In his speech, Ye Yinzhong introduced SUCC's development process of highlighting characteristics of type education, increasing education quality and cultivating outstanding talents, improving the adaptability of vocational education. He said that, SUCC has gradually become a new cradle for cultivating first-class craftsmen, a good partner for development of enterprises and a contributor to reform and development of vocational education currently. In terms of digital transformation of construction industry, he explained the main characteristics of digital transformation with wealth industrial enterprise practice cases. "Strong industrialization growth", "digital intelligence has become the mainstream of technology", "changes in the way of organization and implementation of construction projects" have been the current situation and development trend of the construction industry. The development and changes of the industry have put forward new requirements for vocational education. He pointed out that the employees of digital posts in construction industry should own a composite knowledge structure, strong engineering construction ability and innovative thinking ability, while vocational colleges should also improve the level of science, technology and social services, promote enterprise technology innovation and skill iteration.

From "Strengthening the adaptability of vocational education around the 'five dimensions'", "establishing digital construction college, implementing the construction of a first-class professional group of digital construction", "innovating the talent training mode of 'vertical connection, horizontal integration'","building a high-level faculty" and "building a brand vocational education group" five aspects, Ye Yinzhong elaborated on the exploration and practice of SUCC in dealing with the digital transformation of construction industry. He hopes to build a national demonstration intelligent construction modern industrial college with administrative enterprises on the platform of the Intelligent Construction Professional Committee of the Chinese Society for Technical and Vocational Education, and create a new highland for the cultivation of intelligent construction technical talents.

The establishment of the Intelligent Construction Professional Committee of the Chinese Society for Technical and Vocational Education is to further implement the national digital transformation and development policy, effectively meet the actual needs of industry talent training, further promote the healthy and orderly development of intelligent construction, continue to improve the digital transformation of more than 70 majors in civil engineering and integrated design of secondary vocational, higher vocational and vocational undergraduates, carefully cultivate the skills, innovative spirit and practical ability of intelligent construction-related talents.
